A vehicle robbery prevention method and device capable of reading a battery voltage before the battery voltage is lowered to such an extent that the robbery prevention system cannot be released and alarming the lowering of the battery voltage so that a user can exchange or charge the battery and start the engine by releasing the system when riding the vehicle. In a vehicle robbery prevention method, a main switch (5) connected to a battery (6) is turned on to operate robbery prevention means (8, 9, 10) and a release operation stops the operation of the robbery prevention means, immediately after the main switch (5) is turned on, the battery voltage is read and after the release operation, it is judged whether the battery voltage is equal to or below a predetermined value and if so, an alarm is generated. |
