<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a punch processing wherein inclination of papers is detected without stopping the transferred papers, and inclination is corrected according to the detected inclination. <P>SOLUTION: This post-treatment device has a punch mechanism for punching holes for a file at a predetermined position of a transferred paper. The punch mechanism is constituted movable in a direction perpendicular to a transferring direction of the paper, and has a paper side end position detecting means moving in a direction perpendicular to the transferring direction of the paper during transfer of the paper and detecting a side end position of the paper. The device comprises a control means for calculating an inclination volume in the transferring direction of the paper by information on a first side end position of the paper detected by the paper side end position detecting means, and information on a second side end position of the paper detected by the paper side end position detecting means after a predetermined time has elapsed, and controlling the punch mechanism into actuation, after the punch mechanism is moved in a direction perpendicular to the transferring direction of the paper according to the inclination volume. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
