PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic system for gene requiring no quantitative determination operation necessary for the purification and amplification of nucleic acid. SOLUTION: An amplifying liquid is sent to a nucleic acid coupling member 301 using a rotatable device having an amplifying liquid holding container 360 held with the nucleic acid coupling member 301 and the amplifying liquid, so as to elute the nucleic acid, by centrifugal force, or so as to be amplified on the nucleic acid coupling member with the elution. A process for determining quantitatively a purified product of the nucleic acid and the amplifying liquid is eliminated thereby to shorten the working time and to simplify the structure of the diagnostic system for gene.
