PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification device for identifying a pachinko game machine discharged a game ball. SOLUTION: This identification device includes: an information storage medium 21 mounted on a storing box 14 for storing game balls discharged from the pachinko game machine 17; an information write means 31 provided in the vicinity of the pachinko game machine and storing the identification number of the pachinko game machine out of contact in the information storage medium; and an information read means 41 provided in the vicinity of a counter 16 counting the game balls put in the storing box to read the identification number of the pachinko game machine stored in the information storage medium out of contact. The information storage medium has an antenna coil and an IC chip having a memory, the information write means includes a transmit antenna and a data transmitter, and the information read means has a transmit/receive antenna and a data transmitter/receiver. The information storage medium is provided at the base of the storing box 14, the transmit antenna 32 is buried in a pedestal 10d of the lower part of the front of the pachinko game machine 17, and the transmit/receive antenna is provided at the front of the counter.
