PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish washing apparatus in which dishes fed from a feeding port are prevented from floating forwards and the dishes are smoothly transported to a washing part side without being entangled, broken or stagnated. SOLUTION: The dish washing apparatus receives the dish fed from the feeding port formed on a casing upper surface along guide bars 5a to 5d by left and right dish receiving rods R2, clamps it with left and right transport screws S1 and S2 and transports it to the washing part. By arranging a plate 10 for preventing forward floating of the dish on the transport direction rear end part of the left and right dish receiving rods R2, since the inclination of the dish is limited, abutment of the dishes against the guide bars 5a to 5d at the front and back is evaded and the dishes are smoothly transported.
