<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that flat light emission is impossible in some cases due to peripheral circumstances, the accumulation state of light emission energy, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic flash system capable of performing flat light emission has: a means for measuring a flat light emission available time; a means for writing temporal information into a storage means wherein the flat light emission available time is to be stored; and a means for starting measurements. When the start of the measurements is indicated to the measurement start means, flat light emission is performed with a prescribed intensity of light emission, and the flat light emission available time measured by the measuring means is stored into the storage means by the write means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
