<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unload heating by improving a printing quality by alleviating an unbalance of vignetting by a deviation of a widthwise direction of a recording sheet. <P>SOLUTION: A main scanning direction position of the side end edge of the color heat-sensitive recording sheet 10 is detected by side end edge sensors 27, 28. A center line PCL of the color heat-sensitive recording sheet 10 in the main scanning direction is calculated from this detecting result. The heating element 24n of a heating element array 23 corresponding to the center line PCL is specified. The heating array 23 is controlled so that the center of the main scanning direction of the image to be printed is printed by the heating element 24n. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
