PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a steering system of a vehicle. SOLUTION: In this steering method for the vehicle, a steering motor 4 is operated according to the operation of a steering member 1, the angle of the steering motor and the angle of the steering member are detected, a correlation error between the steering member 1 and the steering motor 4 is compensated, and storage data is used for the compensation of the error. In this steering device 100, the data is surely collected by a calibration routine, and reflects a conformity between the angle of the steering motor and the angle of the steering member.
