PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonograph which displays images picked up in a plurality of specific time phases, that is, images desired to be observed by direct comparision on a same screen, accurately recognizes the abnormality of an affected part or a subject and is enhanced in diagnostic efficiency. SOLUTION: This ultrasonograph is equipped with a CPU part 25 for displaying a thumbnail image 41, which is a contraction of a tomogrphic image corresponding to the specific time phase 47 of a set electrocardiogram 39, and the specific phase 47 by relating it to the image 41 with a dotted line 45 when the electrocardiogram 39 formed on the basis of an electrocardiographic signal being the activity data of the living body tissue of the subject and a plurality of tomographic images of the subject obtaind by dividing the electrocardiogram 39 into a plurality of sections and picked up in synchronous relation to time phases are displayed on the same screen 29 of a monitor 5.
