<p>The gear train, especially for connecting parallel rotating shafts, consists of two gears (6, 8) with meshing teeth (4, 10), fitted with lateral friction plates (12, 14) on one or both sides. The friction plates have contacting bevel edges (16, 18) with an angle of about 25 degrees that allow a friction force to be transmitted between them. One of the plates can be in the form of a spring washer.</p> |
