<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which the strength of a pipe frame is improved and resources can easily be recycled. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 has a housing 10 composed of a base member 11 in the form of a flat plate and the hollow pipe frame 13 erected on the base member 11.
