PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation support device capable of making it easy for the driver to grasp the feeling the distance between the driver's vehicle and another vehicle coming close to the driver's vehicle from the rear when the driver's vehicle retracts by expressing the advance range of the rear vehicle in three dimensionally by adopting a characteristic marker image. SOLUTION: The photograph of the rear of the driver's vehicle is taken with a camera, and the presupposed course according to the steering angle detected by detecting the front wheels of the rear vehicle with a steering wheel angle sensor is calculated. A virtual pole is arranged on the presupposed course, and a marker image made to correspond to the distortion of the image taken by the camera is formed by being transformed into a camera coordinate system. The marker image is displayed superimposed on the actual image obtained by taking the photo of the rear direction of the driver's vehicle. This constitution makes it easy to allow the driver to grasp the feeling the distance between the driver's vehicle and another vehicle coming close to the driver's vehicle from the rear when the driver's vehicle retracts at a high position from the ground in particular.
