Chromatographic separating material comprises (A) a modified calixresorcinarene, with resorcinol hydroxyl groups converted to ether, ester or amide groups and rings are linked by mono- or di((hetero)cyclo)-alkyl- or (hetero)aryl-methylene groups with multiple bond(s), bound covalently to (B) a carrier material containing silanol groups or polymers on the surface. Chromatographic separating material comprises (A) a modified calixresorcinarene of formula (I), bound covalently to (B) a carrier material containing silanol groups or polymer with surface functions of hydroxy-, mercapto-, amino-, carboxy-, isocyanato- or epoxy-alkyl or -alkoxy-silyl, or a group formula (B-1).
