<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tickets processing apparatus capable of performing stable radio communication, improving the processing efficiency, and preventing a deterioration in reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 70 controls the driving of a motor 43 for conveyance to convey a radio card through a conveyance path, and controls a radio card reader/writer part 98 to perform radio communication with the radio card in a predetermined communication area on the conveyance path. At that time, the CPU 70 judges the conveyance state of conveyed tickets based on an output signal from a conveyance state detector 91, and stops the conveyance of the radio card so that the predetermined position in a communicable range of the tickets can be positioned in the communication area of a radio antenna part 41 of the radio card reader/writer part 98 according to the conveyance state, and controls the radio card reader/writer part 98 to perform radio communication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
