PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily image an object as seen from a large number of viewpoints. SOLUTION: An elliptical mirror 111 reflects light emitted from an object located on the side of one focal point f2,of two focal points f1and f2thereof. The light emitted from the object and reflected on the elliptical mirror 111 is made incident to the other focal point f1of the elliptical mirror 111. A fisheye camera 112 located at the focal point f1receives light made incident to the focal point f1,thus imaging the object.
