PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blind nut which can reduce an unnecessary space between a female screw of the nut and a member wherein the female screw is to be fitted, while strongly fixing the nut from one side of the member wherein the nut is to be fitted. SOLUTION: This blind nut is formed of a main body member 2 formed from a plastic deformable material for example a metal, and a nut member 3 formed from a rigid material such as a metal different from the main body member 2. The main body member 2 has a hollow tubular part 5 and a flange 7 formed at one end thereof, and the nut member 3 has the female screw part 13 and a connection part 14. The main body member 2 receives the nut member 3 inside thereof, and while the main body member 2 is connected to the connection part 14 of the nut member 3 in an extension tubular part 9 of the tubular part 5 at a position separated from the flange 7 so that the female part 13 of the nut member 3 is arranged at a position near or adjacent to the flange 7.
