<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantum correlation photon pair amplifying device that has the ability of highly efficiently amplifying a quantum correlation photon pair generated from a parametric crystal. <P>SOLUTION: The quantum correlation photon pair amplifying device (1) is constituted of the parametric crystal (3) where parametric fluorescent generation and parametric fluorescent amplification take place, a mirror (7) for returning excitation light, mirrors (5A, 5B, 5C, 5D) for reflecting a quantum correlation photon pair, a modulator (6) and an optical delay circuit (8). These constituents are arranged in the device so that the shape of the figure 8 is formed by the optical path of the quantum correlation photon pair (4A, 4B) generated by the parametric crystal (3) when the laser-excited excitation light (2) is made incident on the parametric crystal (3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
