PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizing agent composition having a high sizing property and keeping stable properties and free from lowering of a sizing property even after storage in an environment causing a temperature change. SOLUTION: The sizing agent composition comprises (a) an alkyl ketene dimer, (b) a starch containing a cationic group and (c) polyferric sulfate. In the composition, the total amount (a+b) of the components (a) and (b) is 1-40 wt.% and the weight ratio (a/b) of the component (a) to the component (b) is (1/1) to (20/1) and the weight ratio (a/c) of the component (a) to the metal amount in the component (c) is (50/1) to (100,000/1).
