The invention concerns a method for forming microscopic crystals (17) of a chemical compound in recesses (12) produced on one surface (11) of a substrate (10), comprising steps which consist in: distributing on the substrate surface a solution comprising an alkoxide of a metal M, optionally substituted, water, an organic solvent and the dissolved chemical compound; and evaporating the organic solvent resulting in the formation of a three-dimensional solid lattice comprising M-O-M bridges, and formation, at the recesses, of crystals of the chemical trapped in the three-dimensional lattice. Said microscopic crystals can have luminescent sensor properties. |
