<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery which has excellent characteristics such as energy density and electromotive force, with excellent cycle life and safety. <P>SOLUTION: Related to an electrolyte, aprotic solvent contains imide anion, transition metal ion, and compound containing sulfonyl group.
