<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of providing practical high-luminance luminous flux by using multiple light emitting diode elements, and of reducing a projection area (emission luminous flux area) of the light source as compared with the number of used light emitting diode elements, and allowing miniaturization of the device itself. <P>SOLUTION: Components each comprising a light emitting diode and a reflecting surface coupled with it are circularly arranged, and the circular units are disposed hierarchically form without blocking each luminous flux. The light emitting diodes are disposed in a form where the optical axis thereof is directed to the center axis of the device, and each reflecting surface is disposed at such an angle as to face the light emitting part of the corresponding light emitting diode and to reflect the optical axis of the light emitting diode in the optical axis direction of the device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
