PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely hold a shell to a board by keeping strength of the whole shell. SOLUTION: The shell 11 for holding and fixing an insulator 33 to the board 51 has: a shell body 13; and a plurality of shell terminals 15a and 15b. A shell fitting part 17 of the shell body 13 has shell base plates 19a and 19b. The terminals 15a and 15b are formed on the fitting side and on side plates 18a, 18b, 18c and 18d unilaterally extending from the fitting side. The terminals 15a on the fitting side face to each other by being folded from the edge of the fitting part 17 to the outside surface of the fitting part 17 and extend from the outside surface to the outside of the shell body 13 up to a position exceeding the plates 19a and 19b.
