<p>The entry and exit aid for a rail vehicle has a U-shaped yoke (1), open at the bottom, fastened in the floor of the vehicle at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The yoke has an outer vertical section (1a), an inner vertical section (1b), and a top section (1c) connecting them. The yoke by its outer section is rotatable outwards around a vertical axis by about 180 degrees, and a ladder or step element (3) is fastened in the cavity of the yoke and pivotable vertically around a horizontal axis downwards and then upwards after use.</p> |
