<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner conveying device capable of conveying a sufficient amount of toner, and also preventing the occurrence of soft blocking caused by friction between a toner conveyance path and a toner conveying means. <P>SOLUTION: The toner conveying device comprises a first toner conveying means which is disposed in a joint member connected to a developer storage container and receiving a supply of toner and is supported by the joint member at only its base end in a cantilever manner so as to be freely rotated; a toner conveyance path forming member which is flexible and disposed between the joint member and a developing device in order to form the toner conveyance path; and a second toner conveying means which is disposed in the toner conveyance path forming member while connected to the leading end of the first toner conveying means. The toner conveying device is provided with a contact relaxing means which relaxes the contact of the first toner conveying means with the internal wall of the joint member in the connecting section of the first and second toner conveying means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
