PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive suppressing a noise generated from the high speed rotation. SOLUTION: In the disk drive furnished with a tray 5 wherein a placing part 5b is formed for placing the disk 3 thereon, while being arranged to be displaceable between the operating position housed inside a main body and the disk loading/unloading position projected outside, a plurality of protruding ribs 6 are arranged on inner wall surfaces 5b, 5c, 5d for forming the above placing part 5b, and vortices of an air stream generated along with the rotation of the disk 3 are formed by the ribs 6, then the noise reduction is attained by that the vortices play a part as the diffuser.
