PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability in installing a gate door and contribute to cost reduction. SOLUTION: The gate door supporting device comprising both up and down blocks 2a and 2a on the gate door sides of block fences 2 constructed by standing face to face with the gate door 1 is so constituted that mortar pouring slots 8 are not provided on the side faces of the gate door sides of the blocks 2a and 2a, supports 4 and 4 of the gate door 1 respectively fixed to the blocks 2a and 2a together with anchors 9 are provided and that engaging sections 5 and 5 fixed up and down of door bodies 1a of the gate door 1 are supported on the supports 4 and 4 in a rotatable manner.
