PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the corrosion resistance of a reaction column for fluid such as a bleach column used for bleaching pulp and other columns and to significantly reduce the period for repairing the column. SOLUTION: The reaction column for fluid is constituted by fitting an inner cylinder made of a corrosion-resistant material such as titanium and a stainless steel and provided with a feeding port of a fluid in the lower end and with an opening where the fluid overflows in the upper end, fitted into the inside of an outer cylinder made of a concrete structure. The upper part of the inner cylinder is provided with a receiving plate to receive the overflowing fluid from the opening of the cylinder, and the receiving plate is provided with a discharge port of the fluid. The space between the inner surface in the lower end of the outer cylinder and the outer surface of the inner cylinder is filled with mortar to secure the hold, while the space between the upper part of the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder is filled with a stabilizing member.
