<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information giving method and an information giving system which are suitable to give contents information. <P>SOLUTION: A loop wherein a receiving side CL puts request data on a request signal CLa to send the request signal data to the information giving system SV via a communication mechanism NT, the information giving system SV returns contents information corresponding to the request data as a transmission signal SVa and the receiving side CL presents the contents information is updated and repeatedly carried out with high frequency by updating and repeatedly carrying out the request data. If the frequency of retrieval processing at a subsequent stage side is lower with respect to a required processing time between, for example, receiving processing on the loop in the information giving system SV and the retrieval processing at the step subsequent to the receiving processing, a frequency control part 0122 controls high execution frequency of the receiving processing at the preceding stage to carry out the receiving processing with frequency that is equal to that of the retrieval processing or does not surpass the frequency of the retrieval processing, reducing power consumption and a communication load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
