PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric sounding body in which a piezoelectric body itself is electrically connected to the outside without interposing a metal sheet, and the metal sheet is used exclusively as a supporting plate to be bonded with the piezoelectric body for inflection vibration. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric sounding body 1A is provided with a metal sheet 2, an insulation layer 3 formed on a surface of the metal sheet, and a piezoelectric body 4 in which a plurality of piezoelectric ceramic layers 4a and 4b are stacked with an internal electrode 5 in between and piezoelectric ceramic layers are alternately polarized oppositely in the thickness direction, the piezoelectric body 4 having external electrodes 6 and 7 on its front and rear surfaces, the rear surface being adhererd to the insulation layer 3. The external electrodes 6 and 7 and an internal electrode 5 of the piezoelectric body 4 are mutually connected via an end face of the piezoelectric body for each layer, a leadout electrode 10 electrically separated from the front surface side external electrode 6 is formed on the front surface of the piezoelectric body 4, the leadout electrode 10 is connected with the internal electrode 5 via the end face of the piezoelectric body and by applying an alternating signal between the front surface side external electrode 6 and the electrode 10, inflection vibration is generated as a whole.
