PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet friction member capable of cooling uniformly. SOLUTION: This wet friction member 1 is provided with a core plate 10 having a first main surface 11 and a second main surface positioned on the opposite side to the first main surface 11, a first friction material 20 provided on the first main surface 11 of the core plate 10, and a second friction material 30 provided on the second main surface of the core plate 10. The first friction material 20 is provided with a first cooling material channel 21.
