GRINDING PROCESS AND GRINDING DEVICE FOR DISK PAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding method and a grinding device for a disc pad in which inclined surfaces at both sides are ground by one pass and restriction of the amount of grinding limitation does not exist whether a boundary line between a friction surface and the inclined surface is parallel or non-parallel, in the disc pad formed with the inclined surfaces at both sides of the friction surface. SOLUTION: The grinding device for a disc pad has: a fixing part 11 retaining the disc pad 1; a rotation grinding wheel 21 having a rotation shaft parallel to the friction surface 3a of the disc pad 1; and a movement device 10 carrying out a relative movement in a direction crossing to the rotation shaft between the rotation grinding wheel and the disc pad. The rotation grinding wheel 21 is provided with a grinding surface in which a distance from the rotation shaft to the grinding surface is gradually or stepwisely increased toward one direction of the rotation shaft and the grinding surface in which the distance is reduced.
