PURPOSE: A tappet abrasion prevention structure, a control apparatus and a control method thereof are provided to minimize the abrasion of tappet contacting the cam, while allowing for improved stability of valve system. CONSTITUTION: A tappet abrasion prevention structure comprises an oil flow control unit(300) for controlling the amount of oil being supplied from an oil pump and supplying oil in accordance with the load of the tappet contacting the cam varying in accordance with the operating state of vehicle, engine RPM, engine load and oil temperature; and an oil injection unit arranged in the position where the cam and the tappet contact, which injects the oil being supplied through the oil flow control unit onto the surface of the tappet contacting the cam.
