PURPOSE: A device and a method for managing fat using a mobile communication terminal are provided to measure and remove the fat through the mobile communication terminal, and to use a keyboard and a display screen needed for each device with an input part and a display part of the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: The display part(230) displays a measured fat value. A memory(220) stores the measured fat value after measuring the fat. A wireless transceiver(210) transmits the measured fat value to a fat management server after measuring the fat. An adapter(270) connects an electrode wire(280) for measuring the fat and the low frequency transferring wires(290,291) for removing the fat to the mobile communication terminal. A signal amplifier/converter(250) amplifies and converts the measured impedance into a digital signal for a fat measuring mode or a fat removing part. A controller controls each function part and calculates the fat from the impedance measured from a user.
