BROADBAND CHIP ANTENNA FOR WIRELESS LAN

PURPOSE: A broadband chip antenna for a wireless LAN is provided to realize a broadband characteristic by using a ceramic dielectric and an impedance matching element. CONSTITUTION: A dual band antenna for a wireless LAN includes a feeding pin(120), a monopole element(110), a ceramic dielectric(130), and an impedance matching element(140). The feeding pin(120) is connected to a feeding hole of a PCB(10) in order to receive electromagnetic waves. The monopole element(110) and the feeding pin(120) are formed with one body in order to resonate high frequency signals in the predetermined frequency band. The ceramic dielectric(130) has a through-hole into which the monopole element(110) is inserted. The impedance matching element(140) is used for fixing the ceramic dielectric(130).
