The container (1) for a food product with a paste consistency, e.g. a creme caramel has a tab (2) fastened to the outer surface of its base (12) without the use of any additional material, using an in-mould labelling process in which the tab is folded over on itself while the material is injected into the mould. The tab, which can be round or rectangular in shape, can be welded to the container by seal zone (20) that prevents its complete removal, while a grip zone (21) can be lifted to separate the container from its contents. At the same time a hole (110) in the base of the container is exposed to let in air. |
