PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar screen hanging structure which screens or partitions an opening or a large hall in a widely openable manner. SOLUTION: According to the structure, a plurality of planar screens 10 are hung from a main rail 51 via main runners 61. Each planar screen 10 has a sub-rail 20 attached to an upper edge 70 thereof. More specifically, a sub-rail (22) of one of the mutually adjacent planar screens (12) hung from the main rail 51 is engaged with a sub-rail (21) of the other planar screen (11) adjacent to the former one, directly or via a sub-runner (32) traveling in the sub-rail (21). Thus, the sub-rails (21)(22) adjacent to each other via the sub-runner (32) are movable to each other in the longitudinal direction of the sub-rail. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
