<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interference suppressing device using an array antenna for satisfactorily receiving desired signal components by suppressing a large power interference signal. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with an array antenna 1 comprising a plurality of antenna elements, a wave number estimating means 2 for calculating a correlation matrix by using respective reception signals of the array antenna 1, calculating its characteristic value and characteristic vector, and estimating the number of waves of the interference signal based on the magnitude of the characteristic value, a conversion matrix calculation means 3 for calculating a conversion matrix for removing the interference signal by using the characteristic vector, an input signal conversion means 4 for converting the respective reception signals of the array antenna 1 by using the conversion matrix, a weighting factor calculation means 5 for calculating a correlation matrix by using respective output signals of the conversion means 4 and calculating a characteristic vector corresponding to the maximum characteristic value as a weighting factor, and a compositing means 6 for compositing the respective output signals of the conversion means 4 based on the weighting factor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
