<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge ink from each ink nozzle in conformity with an ink dot interval of any specification by one scanning with the use of an existing head having a plurality of ink nozzles arranged in a line. <P>SOLUTION: The head 1 is inclined so that the ink dot interval in a direction Y by each ink discharge from each of ink nozzles n<SB>0</SB>-n<SB>n</SB>of the head 1 becomes an arbitrary pitch (150μm). The head 1 is moved in the state while inclined, and a second count value corresponding to a desired ink dot interval (150μm) in a direction X is set. When ink nozzles n<SB>0</SB>-n<SB>n</SB>reach preliminarily set ink dot positions d<SB>1</SB>, d<SB>11</SB>, d<SB>21</SB>and d<SB>n1</SB>respectively by the movement of the head 1, ink is repeatedly discharged from each of ink nozzles n<SB>0</SB>-n<SB>n</SB>every time a moving distance of the head 1 reaches a distance corresponding to the count value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
