摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the highest possible reproducibility as well as layer quality with the lowest wastage and material usage by simultaneously increasing the performance/production capacity of a spraying device. <P>SOLUTION: At least one feature of a thermal spraying process which influences the quality of a sprayed layer is recorded, evaluated and assessed, checked, monitored and/or regulated by means of measuring a spectrum emitted from a spray jet 7 by the use of optical emission spectroscopic arrangements 13. Both analogue and digital spectroscopic arrangements can be used as the optical emission spectroscopic arrangements. The recording, evaluation and assessment, checking and/or monitoring using the optical emission spectroscopic arrangement can advantageously be used for online regulation, and if necessary, also for optimizing one or a plurality of parameters responsible for the formation of the layer and its properties. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
