<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an optimal solution itself of production planning on the basis of calculation. <P>SOLUTION: In a production system, a relationship between planned quantities of each end product and intermediate product to be produced, a planned total sum of each end product and an inventory quantity of the intermediate product in each unit time of a plurality of unit times aligned in time sequence from a standard unit time, and a planned total sum of each end product to be produced and an inventory quantity of each intermediate product in a next unit time of each unit time is represented by a first linear equation of state.
