<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light receiving/light emitting element connector which can be made shorter in height. <P>SOLUTION: The back 15 of a holder 13 of an optical element module 11 is provided with contacts 17 electrically connected with an internal optical element 12.
