PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device for surely stopping a power generator when the rotation of the power generator is low speed, and preventing stop of the power generator due to disturbance to lengthen the duration. SOLUTION: This electronic control mechanical clock which is an electronic device, includes: the power generator 2 driven by a spiral spring 1 to generate power; and a rotation control device 50 driven by the electric energy to control the rotational period of the power generator 2. The rotation control device 50 includes; a brake control device 55 for controlling the brake of the power generator 2 by comparing a reference signal fs with a rotation detection signal FG1 corresponding to the rotational period; and a power generator stop device 56 for applying brakes to the power generator 2 to be stopped when the brake amount per set time applied to the power generator 2 is a first brake set value or less. Since the power generator 2 is stopped by the brake amount per set time, the power generator 2 is not stopped by temporary disturbance, and when the rotational period is low, the power generator 2 can be surely stopped.
