<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoresis display which is not sensitive to environmental changes and having strong resistance with respect to scratching, a quick response time, a large contrast ratio, and proper address property, in which the surface charge density of coloring particles can be easily increased. <P>SOLUTION: In the electrophoresis display, having a plurality of cells having a dimension, shape, and an aspect ratio which are properly specified, the cells are charged with the charged coloring particles dispersed in a dielectric solvent or a solvent mixture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
