<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely display an important display screen without causing a sudden rise in production costs. <P>SOLUTION: A method for displaying an image executes data generation processing for generating data for display for displaying the second display screen b on a display section on the basis of image data on one or a plurality of images in a frame 1 for displaying the first display screen (a) out of the first to the Nth (N is natural number of 3 or higher) being successively switched and displayed for every frame on a display section. In executing the data generation processing to the third display screen c, discrimination is made whether the fourth display screen d is important or not on the basis of information on the degree of importance showing the degree of importance for each display screen.
