<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device that can display a progress status of total installation when device drivers for a plurality of devices are installed continuously. <P>SOLUTION: An installer recognizes the number i of devices to be installed from contents of a device information file, and inspects contents of a registry to monitor an installation operation of each device executed by a plug-and-play processing part on an OS. Every time a device driver corresponding to each device is installed, the number k of installed devices is divided by the number i of devices to be installed to produce a D value (S790), and the D value is graphed on a screen of a display part (S800).
