<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rewriting type recording medium which certainly erases the correction matter applied to the surface of a recording medium at a high speed by a relatively simple device and repeats the rewriting of an image. <P>SOLUTION: In the rewriting type recording medium wherein at least a reversible recording layer 12 is provided on a support 11, a correctable range enabling correction after recording is displayed.
