<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave corrected clock that can be reduced in power consumption by suppressing wasteful use of electric power. <P>SOLUTION: This wave corrected clock is provided with a power supply control means 43 for receiving section, which periodically actuates a reception power source circuit 24 for driving a receiving circuit 22 which receives radio waves, including time information. The control means 43 is provided with an elapsed-time detecting means 110 which finds the time elapsed after the last radio wave reception time, a reception schedule storing means 130 stored with the schedule information of power supply, and a schedule information setting means 120 which switches the schedule information to another schedule information B, having a power-supplying time interval longer than an initial set value A, when the elasped time becomes longer than a set value. The control means 43 is also provided with a power source circuit control means 140 which controls the actuation of the power source circuit 24, based on the schedule information. Power consumption of this wave-corrected clock can be reduced, because the frequency with which the radio waves is received is reduced, when the the time during which the radio wave cannot be received increases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
