SOLUTION: The invention provides the isolated polynucleotide encoding the VEGF2 selected form a group comprising the VEGF2 polypeptide having an amino acid sequence estimated in fig. 1A or an active fragment of this polypeptide, analogous or derivatives;VEGF2 polypeptide having amino acid sequence encoded by cDNA contained in deposit number 75698 ATCC or an active fragment of the polypeptide, analogous or derivatives.
