<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level shift circuit that is operable at a high speed with low power consumption without adopting a latch structure for level conversion. <P>SOLUTION: The level shift circuit is provided with a precharge circuit including two P type transistors P3, P4, and two N type transistors N3, N4. The precharge circuit precharges first and second nodes W1, W2 and a precharge control circuit 70 controls the precharging operations. A flip-flop circuit (level detection circuit) FF detects a level reduction of the nodes W1, W2. The switching level of the flip-flop circuit FF is set higher. Thus, when the level of the first or second node W1 or W2 reaches the switching level of the flip-flop circuit FF or below, the flip-flop circuit FF earlier detects the level and an output logic is changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
