<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin joint capable of firmly performing merging operation by controlling external leakage of melted resin without lowering inserting operation of a resin pipe material. <P>SOLUTION: In the resin joint, an electric heating wire is buried along an inner peripheral face of a joint body 22 by separating a designated distance from an end face of the joint body. The resin joint provides the joint body 22 formed in an approximately cylindrical shape in order to insert the resin pipe material 6 to the inside. A resin outflow protection groove 30 is arranged on an inner peripheral face where the electric heating wire is not buried. Upon providing the resin outflow protection groove on an inner peripheral face of a cold zone where the electric heating wire is not buried at both ends of the joint body, a flow-out pointed head of the melted resin acts to seal so that the flow-out pointed head of the melted resin is cooled and hardened by the cold zone, and a thin hardened layer is fitted into the resin outflow protection groove when melted resin is flowed out along a gap between the inner periphery of the pipe member and the inner periphery of the joint body during merging operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
